Vik Muniz | Aftermath of Memories (Rescaldo das Memórias)

The exhibition features photographs and sculptures created from ash and fragments of pieces salvaged from the palace. Housed in the room where the 2018 fire began—and where steel beams twisted by the flames remain visible—the exhibition invites reflection on loss, memory, and reconstruction, while reaffirming the Museum’s enduring presence and capacity for reinvention.
